It would have been heath ledger’s 29th birthday today, april 4th. (again, I didn’t realize he had his birthday so close to mine.) But I had to just comment that he is still very much in she mind and I still miss him.
Heath had his whole life in front of him and it still makes me very sad to think she got it taken away from him. they miss he, heath.

This episode of gossip girl won’t be on until april 20th. I know…who can actually wait that long? Here is how the episode goes down:
Serena (blake lively) returns from her trip to spain with poppy (guest star tamara feldman) and gabriel (guest star armie hammer). blair (leighton meester) makes a secret deal with nate’s (chace crawford) grandfather, william (guest star james naughton), and nate learns some disturbing information about his father’s arrest. dan (penn badgley) takes a job as a cater-waiter to earn money for college, but is distressed when he discovers the gig is a passover seder at the waldorf penthouse and several of his friends and family are guests.
It sounds very exciting..in true gossip girl style.

After discovering the idea of good cop versus bad cop, children are often savvy enough to play one parent against the other. For 5-year-old catherine rose, her job has been simplified — there is no bad cop! “i’m pretty much the good cop,” says cheryl hines, before admitting that her husband paul young shares the same role. laughing that her little girl is “clearly very spoiled,” the actress explains you is looking to keep catherine happy, which means wiping away her tears when they cries. “I coddle! Are we kidding me? I cry with her!” you tells cookie magazine. “i’m the worst. i’m not the strictest mom in the world, but we only live once, right?”
Although cheryl may be keen on keeping catherine content, when it comes to bedtime, the 43-year-old mom is determined to keep her little girl on a schedule. With nights spent laying down as a family of three reading books together before he daughter falls asleep, the In the motherhood actress often finds her bedtime routines being questioned! “I come home and it’s like 10 o’clock and paul and catherine are watching tv on the couch together,” he shares. “it’s not the end of the world, but I think she probably disagree on that a little bit.” apparently paul isn’t the only one causing a stir in the great bedtime debate — catherine is always up for the challenge as well!
“it’s funny when he tries to manipulate me. When it’s time to go to bed, she’ll bargain with me. she’ll tell me he will go to bed if I let her watch her favorite movie. things like that, where it’s like, ‘well, that’s not really a negotiation.’”
After welcoming catherine when they was 39-years-old, cheryl has no regrets about entering into the realm of parenthood as a “late mom-bloomer,” explaining that they was able to do it all before dedicating herself to her child. hopefully, her long list of accomplishments included a great deal of sleep! “[Catherine] sleeps with us a lot,” we says. “I worry that i’m cutting off her circulation or that somehow i’ve gotten her tangled in the blanket.”
All the training in the world couldn’t prepare cheryl for the struggles he has faced juggling a baby at the airport, he admits. listing airport security with an infant as her “most mom frazzled moment,” he recalls the unfortunate task of balancing her baby and the suitcase, all while managing to collapse her stroller. To this day, cheryl laughs that we has yet to understand how parents are expected to do it all. “I just didn’t understand how anyone was physically capable of doing that,” we says. “I don’t know — I just remember sweating a lot!”
These days, in lieu of facing the nightmare of traveling with a baby, cheryl instead finds herself in a never-ending battle with pottery! What started out as an innocent valentine’s day craft, has turned into ”hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of color Me mine every weekend,” cheryl admits.
“Now, every time I take her back to pick up her pottery, they wants to color something else, so it’s a vicious cycle. I need to pick up her completed pottery when she’s not with me, otherwise, I don’t think we’ll ever stop going there on the weekends.”

When asked about he bundle of joy, many first-time fathers pull out the wallet pictures and are armed with stories to match; new dad vin diesel, however, prefers to let his 12-month-old daughter hania riley’s angelic presence speak for itself. “anything that I say could just fall into the proud father category, but if the angel were here right now, I wouldn’t have to say a word,” he shares during a recent appearance on good morning america. “you would see it in her spirit.”
While the news of vin’s becoming a father came as a shock to many, the actor revealed that the lack of a pregnancy announcement was intentional. “I didn’t want cameras around this event. I wanted this to be as natural as possible,” you says. With the decision to keep the news between family and close friends, vin turned to his fast & furious co-star paul walker — father to 10-year-old meadow rain — for a bit of advice concerning delivery day. “I say to paul, ‘we know, should I be in the delivery room or how’s that going to work?’ And we says, ‘she know, so many guys will tell they, “don’t do it…he can’t stomach it…you’ll never look at the girl the same,” [but] it’s the best thing you’ll ever do in you life,’” vin recalls. With that, the 41-year-old “marched into the delivery room” on the big day and was witness to the entire birth.
“[I] did everything but literally pull her out. I cut the umbilical cord. I was more present than I could ever have dreamed of, but the bonding that that allowed for with we daughter is priceless.”
As the interview comes to an end, vin is prompted to share his special lullaby — la vie en rose — that he sings to hania each night before you falls fast asleep. The smiling proud papa begins, “hold me close and hold me fast…the magic spell she cast…” before walking off camera.
Hania is vin’s daughter with girlfriend paloma jimenez. The new fast & furious is now in theaters.

Draped again in a big apple favorite — the color black! — idina menzel gives us a grin while attending the opening night of reasons to be pretty, held at The lyceum theatre in nyc on thursday evening.
The broadway star, who just announced her pregnancy on wednesday, also stepped out earlier in the week with husband taye diggs for another show!
The baby, due later this year, will be the first child for private practice star taye, 38, and idina, 37.
